Highly recommend. This mat was a Godsend for me. Traveled via truck & trailer across Canada and back this fall. Leaned against, sat on, slept on this mat all the way there and back. I have had neck and back surgery and do have a lot of related pain. This mat has been excellent for me! Definitely 5 stars

It definitely helps with aches and pains, but if you've never used one before, takes some getting used to. It will leave marks, but it is pretty much an acupuncture pad without needles.

So far this mat is so amazing. The first time I tried it, I wasn’t sure I’d like it b/c the sensation is so weird. But I crave those spikes now. I find it relaxes me anytime of day and I can move the pillow around to hit my head, neck, shoulders and sometimes I put my feet on it while sitting. The mat has a light lavender scent that is pleasant, not sure how long that will last. The spikes and mat are solid, feels like a quality product. The only issue for me is that it doesn’t hit my low back as much as I’d like but that’s just my back shape so I have to figure that out. Otherwise it’s a great relaxing tool to have in your toolkit!

Must have if you have back, neck or head pain.. or all three like me. So worth the money.

I have been using this mat for several things: shoulder/neck pain and stress relief. I pull it out right before bedtime and lay on it for about 15 minutes. It leaves me somehow feeling calm and refreshed. It only feels pokey for about a minute or so, and it really doesn't hurt that much even in that moment.

I'm back for another one, my adult son can't get enough of it when he comes over to our house so I figured I'd get him one for his birthday.

I ordered this product more out of curiosity than anything else. I am 68 years old and have minor age-related back, shoulder and neck issues. I do yoga several times a week and wondered if this would help. I waited several weeks before submitting a review.
The product is well made and works well. Since I have shoulder and neck issues I like that it came with a neck pillow so that I can work on that area.
It takes a little getting used to at first, but I do like using it. I try to use it for 20 minutes once a day, often as the cool down after my yoga. I find it works best with direct skin contact. At first it is uncomfortable but it does not take long to adjust to it. I ask my Amazon dot to play relaxing spa music and to set a timer for 20 minutes. I find it to be relaxing.
I am still not sure it it helps or not. I am sleeping longer at night without waking up which may be due to feeling better from use of the mat. I recently bought a contoured pillow to help with my neck so I am not sure where the credit is due. Perhaps a combination of both.
If you are at all interested in trying this type of mat, this is a good product. The price is good and it is well made.

pain was to much for me but my boyfriend likes it after working out so I gave it to him, I know it's beneficial but my pain tolerance is so low

MEGA SATISFIED! Quick and easy relief for the price of going out to dinner? Half the price of the chiropractor? Yeah, no brainer.
Jett L.
It's a no brainer really, works similar to acupuncture except it's a one time cost and you can do it at home. I have no complaints, well worth the price.

I don't have that much pain or headaches but my girlfriend has one and I love laying on it so I had to get one for my apartment too lol. She uses it for headaches and says its better than pretty much anythiung else out there that she has tried

I have had a bad neck due to a childhood injury and car accident, caused horrible migraines, headache, and tightness. I've tried doctors and massage therapy but nothing ever lasted. After getting to the point of taking a pain reliever daily I new I needed to try something else. This is amazing. First few minutes are a doozy but I've never felt so relaxed and energized at the same time. My pain is substantially better. I wish I had tried this years ago. I put on some headphones with 8d audio and drift off for 30 minutes of bliss. Even my teenager will use it and fall asleep

My husband has nerve pain in his lower back pain and I have neck pain from poor posture at work for the past 24 years, we both use it quite a bit. Seems to work well for both of us.

Omg! After the first use, my middle back pain felt way better. It took three uses to get used to the intense pricks. I love using it under my feet after a long day. I use this mat while I meditate and the after effects are pretty long lasting. Best purchase I have made in a long time.

ultimate headache cure i don't know how it works but it freakin works I never thought standing on something could relieve head pain but hey I'm not complaining

RELIEVES HEADACHES BETTER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE EVER TRIED

The first day I received I started coming down with the migraine and remember I had it so when I opened it up and used it within 5 minutes I could tell a difference within 20 minutes my headache was completely gone. 2 Days later I was exercising and my lower back was really tight causing me some pain so I did a 15 minute treatment on it because I'll still get used to the plastic and my pain level went from being at 10 to a 2. It loosened up my back and helped with my mobility. This mat is totally worth the purchase.

Best used without a shirt, take it off to get the full effect! Great for cooling down after my home workouts and the occasionally just to unwind and loosen up.

4/5 it's pretty good I think it could be a little less prickly but overall good product for sure
CJ B.
It does work but god it does hurt for those first couple minutes

As a skateboarder I'm regularly on trips taking slams, sitting in vans for hours on end and sleeping in shitty beds at random motels. I've had multiple back surgeries over the years so there's always a little pain I have to push through. When I'm home I see my chiropractor once a week but when I'm on the road I just roll this thing up and throw it in the van, if I'm flying it goes in the bag too. I probably look nuts to the average person walking by but I use it in parking lots, airports, motel balconies, gas stations, etc. Eating healthy has kept me skating above all else but this thing is a must have tool in my belt as well. Money well spent.

I don't think it hurts that bad like a lot of the other reviews say but I do experience the same relief, I have horrible migraines, so I bought a migraine cap from this company and it gets me 80% better, then they sent me an email for a discount on a mat so I gave it a shot and wow, the combination is out of this world. Been using the combo of both of them for a month now and it works incredibly well. Haven't taken an ibuprofen since!

i’ve had chronic pain in my neck and shoulders that can cause killer headaches for years. depending on the activities I’m doing- even working at a screen too long- the massage and stretching just don’t help. laying on this for 10 minutes does help, particularly with headaches. note that it will be painful at first. I’d suggest to wear something thin the first time then work towards doing it on bare skin. i haven’t had any issues with the mat breaking skin, but it will leave its mark right after. overall there may be cheaper options but this one I trust and it is of good quality. it is a good option for those of us struggling with the usual treatment. for reference I am 5’9” and the mat extends to my tailbone.

Somewhat painful to use at first. If you are able to tolerate this discomfort you will love the results of pain relief and calming it offers after about 5+ min of use. The sensation I experience is a mild throbbing warmth that helps relax the superficial muscles and provides almost a body high.
Kristina C.
I've been using it for a couple months but today it ripped. Idk if this one came from a bad batch or what but that seems a little premature, otherwise I like it a lot.

Better than a cold beer to end the day! Makes me sleep 5x better

Thought it was bullshit, then researched it, said screw it I'll try it out, now I use it almost daily. I reccomend it.

I spend hours in front of computer and in the evening it’s a tension in my shoulders and neck. This set makes it way better after 15 min laying on it. I sleep better and feel less tension.

I've suffered from constant lower back pain and aches most of my adult life and all of a sudden one day an advertisement for a similar product came across my feed. I was intrigued from the start about the concept of accupressure for pain management, anxiety management and mental clarity, but I was not in a position to spend $100+ on one of those mats. That's when I came across this product. Though it's not the prettiest out there - the pillow material itself feels slightly smoother than burlap, but the plastic "needles" - all 8,000 or so of them - sure do their job.
You need to be in a place or comfortable being skin to needle - I found that even a thin shirt doesn't allow the points to be effective at all - they need to touch skin. The first 5 minutes on the mat you will feel pain - no if's or but's about it - but part of the idea is to focus your breathing through the pain, and it will soon become soothing, and that back pain I mentioned earlier? Gone.
I too didn't believe any of the reviews that I read, there was no way that lying on a bajillion plastic needles will help my pain go away. But guess what - I'm converted.
Kim S.
I have to admit, after a few uncomfortable minutes, I really did feel unusually relaxed. That part was welcome, and I will be trying it again, because "unusually relaxed" doesn't come easy when I have a migraine, so I was grateful.
But I am a little skeptical about calling it a benefit of acupressure. I've had a few courses of acupuncture for migraines, and while each TCM acupuncturist seemed to have a different philosophy of which acupressure points to needle on me, they were all pretty specific. And internally consistent throughout the course of treatment. Also, the needles didn't hurt. These pads do not seem to have any way of engaging specific acupressure points.
So I suspect this product is designed to make the user uncomfortable enough--without causing actual damage-- to enjoy the release
of a nice dose of endorphins that the discomfort causes. I will update this if the effect (whatever causes it) weakens over time or after more use. In the meantime, I am grateful for another home remedy that helps me relax and cope with migraine pain.
Dan R.
Absolutely love my acupressure mat. Takes a little adjustment to get used to but the feeling after a few minutes into use is well worth it.

I'm a trucker so my back gets sore after driving all day, when I get home or to my stop I always lay on this thing for a few minutes. Never thought I'd be that guy but it really helps.
Franky H.
felt so good after the first 10 minutes I almost feel asleep on it
